Checked against each tool's own website on 11 October 2026.
"Setup app" means three different things in the F1 games. Some tools hand you a setup someone else built. Some show you your own telemetry and leave the conclusions to you. A few read your laps and suggest what to change. Here is what each of the tools that came up most in our October 2026 searches for F1 25 and its 2026 Season Pack actually does, so you can pick the one that fits how you drive.
We make Driver Dojo, one of the tools below. We have kept every description to what each tool says about itself on its own site; if something has changed since, tell us and we will fix it.
Several tools span more than one category, and the table shows where.
| Tool | What it mainly is | F1 games (per its site) | Runs on | Suits a driver who wants |

"F1 26" in this table means the 2026 Season Pack for F1 25, which is how these tools use the name. Platforms are what each tool's own site says.
An all-rounder made specifically for the F1 games. Its telemetry app records every lap and session automatically, with racing-line and lap analysis, and the site adds a large community setup library (it counts more than 177,000 setups), wet and consensus setups, lap-time leaderboards, an AI difficulty calculator and career and season tracking. Pick it if you want a complete history of your F1 driving and a big pool of shared setups.
A setup library first. It publishes setups for every track, tagged by condition and session type, made by esports drivers, and lets the community upload, rate and comment on their own. It also offers an F1 telemetry app that tracks your sessions and compares your laps with fast drivers' laps, plus live overlays. Pick it if you want a quick, proven setup and to see how a fast lap differs from yours.
Esports-built setups across iRacing, Le Mans Ultimate, ACC, Automobilista 2, Assetto Corsa and F1, with dedicated setups for F1 25 and the 2026 Season Pack. Its GO Fast companion app covers telemetry and setup tools, and GO Setups says these support F1. Pick it if you race several sims and want one source of setups.
A community app on Android for searching, creating and sharing setups, filtered by track, weather, team and game version. Its Play Store listing names the F1 games from 2016 to 2025. Pick it if you want a setup notebook and community library in your pocket.
A dedicated telemetry viewer for many racing games. It records your timed laps and lets you study them as numbers, interactive charts or on a reconstructed track, compare two laps with a time-difference chart, compute per-lap and per-session statistics, share data and export to CSV. It runs on PC, Mac, iOS and Android. Pick it if you enjoy reading the data yourself and want one tool for several games.
An open-source (MIT) telemetry companion for Windows. Its main feature is always-on-top in-game overlays that need no mouse; behind them is a browser-based dashboard with a live race table, tyre wear and fuel modelling, stint and compound strategy analysis, OBS-ready stream overlays and remote viewing so an engineer can watch from anywhere. Pick it if you stream, race leagues, or want to see the whole race at a glance.
An open-source (AGPL-3.0) Windows app from SpeedHQ covering several sims, including F1 2025. It keeps every lap in a local database, compares laps side by side, and has a tune and setup catalogue with community setting ranges. Optional AI coaching on technique and setups runs through your own API key or a local model. Pick it if you want a local, multi-sim tool you can extend.
A Windows app (with an Android app for PlayStation or Xbox) for F1 24, F1 25 and F1 26. It combines a live overlay, a voice race engineer you can ask questions, and corner-by-corner analysis against your best lap and a rival. Its setup advisor reads your telemetry, names a handling symptom and points to the setup change that tends to fix it. It also has league tools: a broadcast overlay, a commentary booth and a steward mode. Pick it if you want everything on top of the game while you drive.
Driver Dojo is a setup coach that runs in your browser. Point the game's UDP telemetry at it, drive a stint, and it does three things:
It also tells you whether a slow corner is technique limited or setup limited, so you do not chase a setup change that cannot help. Around that sit a live dashboard, lap comparison across more than twenty channels, race strategy from a tyre model fitted to your own laps, and a read-only link so a friend can follow your session live as your race engineer. It supports F1 26 (the 2026 Season Pack for F1 25), F1 25 and F1 24, with nothing to install. The game can run on PC, Xbox or PS5. Every feature is listed on the features page.
It suits new drivers who don't yet know which slider to touch, and experienced drivers who want the reasoning and the numbers behind a change.
It depends on what you want from it. For a ready-made setup, use a setup library such as F1Laps, SimRacingSetup.com, GO Setups or Sim Racing Setup Garage. For setup changes worked out from your own laps, use a setup coach such as Driver Dojo, or the setup advisor in Pacedex. Many drivers use both: a library setup to start from, then a coach to tune it.
A setup library gives you a setup someone else built for a track. A telemetry viewer records your laps and shows you the data, and you decide what to change. A setup coach reads your telemetry and suggests which setup values to change.
The F1 games send telemetry from consoles too, but each tool receives it differently. F1Laps' connection guide covers PC, PS5 and Xbox. SRT captures from PC, PlayStation and Xbox. Pacedex uses its Android app for PlayStation or Xbox. Driver Dojo runs in a browser and receives telemetry over the internet, so the console and the app do not need to be on the same network. Check each tool's own setup guide before you buy hardware or change network settings.
"F1 26" is the name most tools use for the 2026 Season Pack for F1 25, released on 3 June 2026. It is an expansion of F1 25, not a separate game. F1Laps, SRT, Pits n' Giggles, Pacedex and Driver Dojo all list support for it, and SimRacingSetup.com and GO Setups publish setups for it.
Yes. A common combination is a setup library for a starting point and a telemetry tool or setup coach to refine it. If you want two tools to receive live telemetry at the same time, check each one's connection guide first.
Every tool on this page uses the game's built-in UDP telemetry, which you switch on in the game's telemetry settings. Our telemetry setup guide walks through it for PC, PlayStation and Xbox.
No. Driver Dojo is an unofficial companion tool for the F1 games and is not affiliated with Formula One Management, Codemasters or EA Sports. None of the other tools on this page are affiliated with Driver Dojo.
